Woah! R. Kelly is Being Accused of Holding Women in an ‘Abusive Cult’

People are going crazy over a new BuzzFeed report alleging R. Kelly might be holding women in a cult against their will. According to reporter Jim DeRogatis, parents are claiming he is holding their daughters captive.

One mother said to BuzzFeed that R. Kelly kidnapped her daughter when she attended his concert two years ago. The singer apparently offered to help her music career, but instead forced her to live with him unwillingly (allegedly).

“It was as if she was brainwashed. [She] looked like a prisoner — it was horrible,” the mom said of seeing her last year. “I hugged her and hugged her. But she just kept saying she’s in love and [Kelly] is the one who cares for her. I don’t know what to do. I hope that if I get her back, I can get her treatment for victims of cults. They can reprogram her. But I wish I could have stopped it from happening.”

Cheryl Mack, Kitti Jones, and Asante McGee — all claiming to be “former members of Kelly’s inner circle — said he is a “master at mind control.”

“You have to ask for food. You have to ask to go use the bathroom,” Mack told BuzzFeed. “He is a puppet master.” Jones and McGee said they “had sexual relationships with the star at different times over the past five years before leaving.”

The BuzzFeed report says there are women being held in R. Kelly’s homes in Chicago and Georgia. He also reportedly confiscated their cell phones.
