Jennifer Lopez might be taking her role as an NYPD detective in Shades of Blue a little too seriously.

Apparently, in the latest issue of US Weekly, a source reveals that she hired a private investigator to tail her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez.

“He found out and they had a huge fight,” the insider tells Us. “But they’re working through it.”

The investigation followed rumors that he was cheating on her with former mistress Lauren Hunter. “She’s really into Alex and wants it to work,” the source added. “So she’s trying to control as much as she can.”

The couple are really digging each other, flaunting their relationship everywhere they go. But what about trust? Let’s hope it’s there…
