Wiener Eating Winners!
Joey Chestnut and Miki Sudo won the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest this year! (Yes, that’s a real thing.)
Joey devoured the 10th men’s title after eating 72 hot dogs and buns in a ten minute period. Miki inhaled 41 dogs/buns in the period winning her 4th consecutive women’s title.
Although Miki didn’t break a record, it was her personal best. Joey’s personal best was 70, and he upped it by one this year.
Here’s what Joey told ABC News:
“I love to eat, and I love doing it, I love to win, so I had to figure out my body and push it to the limit.”
Miki told ESPN she “just came back better than ever” this year.
Looks like we’ve crowned two Wieners!!!!
