Donald Trump Interrupted a Call With Irish Leader to Flirt With a Reporter, Hmmm

An Irish reporter just shared a video of President Donald Trump complimenting her smile during a phone call with Ireland’s new prime minister.

The reporter’s name is Caitriona Perry, a Washington correspondent for the Irish public broadcaster RTE, and she described it personally as being a “bizarre moment.”

Donald Trump is seen congratulating Taoiseach Leo Varadkar on his victory before telling over the phone, “We have a lot of your Irish press watching us,” then called Caitriona to him.

“And where are you from? Go ahead, come here, come here. Where are you from? We have all of this beautiful Irish press,” he said. “She has a nice smile on her face, so I bet she treats you well.”

Caitriona later tweeted the video, writing: “Video of the bizarre moment when President @realDonaldTrump called me over during his call with Taoiseach @campaignforLeo Varadkar. @rtenews.”
