Strange Beauty Tips From Margot Robbie? Yes, Please!
If one of Victoria’s Secret’s “Sexiest Celebrities of 2017” is dishing out beauty tips, we’re all ears.
Margot Robbie sat down with Elle UK, and shared a few…unconventional secrets that we are stealing for sure.
When it comes to lip care, the actress has chosen a rather interesting product. She said:
“[For] my lip balm, I use Bepanthen, which is actually a nipple cream for breastfeeding mothers or diaper rash cream for babies. I have a conspiracy theory that lip balms actually have additives in them to dry your lips out so you keep buying them. But because Bepanthen is just a cream for dry skin, it works. It’s what I’ve used my whole life.”
Odd, but it makes good sense! The star has stolen a trick or two from her pals here and there as well. She said:
“My friend taught me this trick that I use it every day. When I put on foundation, I use an eyebrow brush or toothbrush to brush it into my hairline so that it all blends. Especially because I have blonde hair but tanned skin, if I don’t blend it, it looks gross—you can see the foundation in my hair.”
When it comes to skin care, the beauty has a few other secrets. While traveling, Margot has some go-to products that keeps her face clean and fresh. She said:
“There’s Peter Thomas Roth complexion correction pads, because I’m on a plane every five seconds, and I can’t wash my face. I hate that feeling, but then I use these pads and my face feels really good. Also, Caudalie facial mist — it’s the nicest smell.”
The 26-year-old is a self-proclaimed cheese-aholic, but when she has to be film-ready, she cuts down on the dairy, just a bit. She said:
“If I eat or drink heaps of dairy, my skin breaks out. I love dairy and I have it all the time but if I’m filming or if my skin is really shit, then I try to cut down and just drink lots of water. But I pretend cheese isn’t dairy because I will never accept that I can’t have it. I love it.”
