Wonder Woman was a critical and commercial success, so it’s no wonder that its director Patty Jenkins is working tirelessly on a script for the sequel.

According to Variety, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns (both of whom oversee the DC films at Warner Bros.) say they’re writing the treatment with Patty right now, and the “goal is to make another great Wonder Woman film,” adding they had a “blast” working with Patty.

WB Pictures President and CCO Toby Emmerich also told Variety that the sequel won’t take place in World War I like its predecessor, however it’s likely to be set in the past.

Patty also said in a few interviews following the release of the film that she envisions a sequel taking place in the United States rather than Europe. To date, the first film has made over $570 million.

Patty still hasn’t confirmed that she will be directing the sequel.
