Jay Z has now added a hyphen to his name, as well as an obsession with caps. The rapper confirmed with Pitchfork that he wants everyone to know him as JAY-Z. 

Since he burst on the scene, Jay-Z had a hyphen before he dropped it for his 2013 album Magna Carta Holy Grail. 

Recent promo for his new album 4:44 shows his name to be JAY:Z.

Who knows how long this name will last, but whatever the king says — goes!
