A Syrian artist by the name of Abdalla Al Omari is trending on Twitter because he’s painting world leaders as refugees.

In his latest exhibition titled “Vulnerability Series,” he included Donald Trump, Putin, Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, Kim Jong-un and some other world leaders.

Abdalla, who has refugee status in Belgium, says his own experience with displacement inspired him to create these pieces!

According to CNN, Abdalla said this:

“Being a refugee is like having a new lump in your body that you had nothing to do with, and it will stay until the last day, so you better deal with it.”
