Though he sometimes tries to hide it, Simon Cowell has a huge heart.

The reality TV judge has enlisted some of Britain’s biggest stars to record a single to raise money for the victims of last week’s horrific fire at the Grenfell Tower in London.

Currently, The Who’s Roger Daltrey, One Direction’s Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson, James Blunt, Lily Allen, Craig David, Robbie Williams, Pixie Lott, and Rita Ora are set to contribute. British rappers Skepta and Stormzy and talent from The Voice, The X Factor, and Britain’s Got Talent will participate as well. The group will record Simon and Garfunkel’s classic hit,  “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” much like 1985’s “We Are The World,” which benefited the humanitarian aid in Africa.

Simon is aiming to release the song sometime next week, and he is working on securing more stars to join the effort. He told The Sun of Britain, “Until that last note has been finished, we will not be off the phone.” A choir of local residents will participate as well, many of whom are children who lost their homes in the blaze.

The death toll from the inferno is 58 right now, though that number is expected to rise. The newly-installed aluminum siding, which is illegal on UK high-rises, has been blamed for the intense speed with which the fire spread.

Prime Minister Theresa May agreed that the $7,000 each family will receive as compensation is “not good enough,” as people gathered outside her residence to protest the handling of the tragic event.
