Will Ferrell’s Lifetime Movie Is Actually Pretty F**king Great! LOL

Will Ferrell’s Lifetime movie A Deadly Adoption was screened during the ATX TV Festival this week, and fans were actually very impressed at what’s being described as an “over the top thriller.”

“First, I would like to start by saying thank you because everyone stayed in their seats. No one left. That’s pretty amazing,” he told the audience after the film, which also stars Kristen Wiig.

According to Page Six, the movie was filmed in 15 days and written over a Christmas holiday. Writer Andrew Steele said even that was longer than it should have taken.

“It started with the simple premise that I kept thinking it would be fun to star in a Lifetime movie,” Will said to the crowd. He added he was shocked that it happened. “[My agent] called me back and was like, ‘You’re not going to believe it, they said yes.’ And then I was like, ‘There’s no way we’re getting past the next step.’ He called back and said, ‘OK, they said yes.’ So he was very disappointed that we got to make it.”
