Jerry Seinfeld Gives His Two Cents on the Kathy Griffin Drama

If there’s one dude who knows how to take a joke, it’s Jerry Seinfeld. After all, he’s been giving and receiving them most of his life at this point, so when it comes to Kathy Griffin’s recent drama in which she’s been fired and scrutinized for holding a fake Donald Trump simulating a beheading, he didn’t hold back.

“Yes, it was another bad joke. Every comedian tells bad jokes,” he told People magazine. “We all do it. That’s how we find the good jokes. So someone told a bad joke — so what, I don’t understand the big deal.”

Almost immediately after the photo was released, Kathy apologized, saying she felt horrible. Then bring a press conference, she said that her career was most likely over due to the Trump family’s relentless persecution towards her and her lack of judgment.

“I made a horrible, horrible call,” she said at the time. “Trust me, if I could redo the whole thing I’d have a blow up doll and no ketchup.”
