Nicole Kidman & Ewan McGregor Recall Drinking Absinthe at ‘Moulin Rouge’ Parties
It’s hard to believe it’s been 16 years since Moulin Rouge!
Now it’s stars, Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor, sat down with Variety to dish on the work of Bad Luhrmann as well as what it’s like being an actor in Hollywood. These two have shared countless of memories together, so they have a lot to say.
“We’d have great parties,” Nicole remembered. “Remember those Friday nights, those Saturday nights?”
“Not all of them,” he laughed. “Don’t remember all of them.”
“Exactly,” she said. “I remember absinthe being passed out at some point and me going, ‘Is this safe?’ I was so naive.”
