It looks like Paula Abdul’s judging days are in the past.

With the new American Idol reboot in the works, many were wondering if the singer, who was one of the original judges on the hit show, would reprise her role. Her answer is no.

Paula told Entertainment Tonight, “I don’t think I’d do the judging thing anymore.”

Though the former pop star isn’t feeling the judges panel, she hasn’t closed the door completely. She added, “But if they ever called me and they needed help or mentoring with kids, or anything like that. That’s what I do, that’s who I am.”

The 54-year-old was a judge from 2002 to 2009, and reportedly left over money. Katy Perry is set to be a celebrity judge, and will reportedly be paid $25 million. Paula’s response to this news was, “Good for her! Let’s just put it on the record. I was not getting paid $25 million dollars.”

Paula is currently on her Total Package Tour with New Kids On The Block and Boyz II Men.

American Idol, which ended in 2016, is set to begin again in March of 2018.
