Who knew David Duchovny was a singer?

The former X-Files alum released an album called Hell Or Highwater back in 2015. The music was influenced by The Beatles and Leonard Cohen, and people dug it. He even played a few gigs in the United States.

Since then, the actor has begun working on a follow-up album, due at the end of the year, and he has just announced that following the release, he will take his show on the road in Australia.

According to news.com.au, the 56-year-old took up guitar after his split with Tea Leoni to keep himself busy when he wasn’t with his kids. Apparently, the first day he spent recording Hell Or Highwater was “horrible.” He told Rolling Stone, “At one point, I was just lying on the ground underneath the mic, yelling that this was all a mistake.”

Tickets technically go on sale on Friday, June 2, but exclusive pre-sale tickets will be available at 9am AEST on Wednesday, May 31. Word also has it that there will be a limited number of VIP “meet and greet” packages available for each performance.
