No doubt, Chris Cornell’s death impacted the entire music and film community. At his memorial service today, Hollywood’s biggest stars showed up to pay tribute.

Brad Pitt, Pharrell Williams, Christian Bale, Josh Brolin, all of the bandmates from Soundgarden, and more offered their condolences, with a eulogy by Brolin and a performance of “Hallelujah” by Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington.

“I feel like this is just as big as the death of Elvis or John Lennon. That’s why I had to bring my son,” Melody Andrade said. “There will never be another. He’s a modern day Freddie Mercury. I needed some closure on this.”
