While there is still no official release date for Season 2 of Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath, a fabulous quick fix is coming very soon!

On Monday, May 29, A&E will air a two-hour special edition of the show, entitled Merchants of Fear. This special is in addition to the upcoming 10-episode season, and “will specifically invite a series of special guests to candidly describe their personal experiences investigating controversial stories about the Church and how it has responded to their work,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

So yes, you read that right- next season is 2 more episodes than Season 1, plus this two-hour bonus feature. Woo Hoo!

In case you are not in the know, Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath focuses on Leah and other former members and their experiences with abuse and harassment by the Church, even after they have left the organization.

If you haven’t seen Season 1 yet, you can get yourself up to speed before the special by watching reruns on the show’s website.
