Blake Lively’s got a brand new gig.

CBS Films just announced that the Gossip Girl alum will star in and executive produce the film adaptation of Liane Moriarty’s best-selling novel, The Husband’s Secret.

Blake will play Cecilia Fitzpatrick, a wife and mom who discovers that her husband has been hiding a terrible secret for years. The book hit shelves in 2013 and quickly rose to number 1 on the New York Times Best Sellers list.

In a statement, CBS Films President Terry Press said:

“Liane Moriarty has established herself as one of the defining voices of the modern woman and Blake Lively’s unique combination of vulnerability, strength and extraordinary talent makes her the perfect actress to realize Moriarty’s creation.”

Blake most recently appeared in The Shallows, which brought in $119 million worldwide on a $17 million budget.

The Husband’s Secret follows HBO’s previous adaptation of Liane’s Big Little Lies, a miniseries which starred Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley, and Nicole Kidman.
