It kinda goes without saying that when you sign up to be on America’s Got Talent, you should expect a little tough love from the judges. But one mother is not having any of it.

A woman is suing the production company behind America’s Got Talent claiming her young daughter was traumatized when its newest host Tyra Banks “physically manipulated and verbally abused” her, according to an 18-page suit.

The suit alleges the woman and her husband were publicly humiliated by AGT judges during a March 19 performance when they were performing a song about motherhood. Apparently, Tyra and others didn’t like the song so much.

During the performance, Tyra is alleged to have “physically manipulated and verbally abused” their daughter when she shook the girl’s shoulder and pulled her hair back to insinuate the girl was “accidentally conceived.” She also made fun of the performance in front of the girl while cameras were filming.

Later, Tyra asked the girl how she felt after watching her parents get scrutinized on stage.

Following the experience, the girl allegedly became depressed.

The couple is seeking a jury trial.
