Cher is 71 & Can Do a 5 Minute Plank — This is Why She’s an Icon!
Cher is one of the greatest icons we’ve ever had, and right before she was presented with the Icon Award at last night’s Billboard Music Awards by icon-in-the-making Gwen Stefani, she was dressed to the nines in sparking diamonds for her “Believe” performance before changing into a black wig and fishnet suit for “If I Could Turn Back Time.”
During her acceptance speech, she reminded all of us why she’s a star:
“I’m 71 yesterday. I can do a 5-minute plank, okay?” she joked. “I want to thank my mom because when I was really young, my mom said, ‘You’re not going to be the smartest, you’re not going to be the prettiest, you’re not going to be the most talented, but you’re going to be special.’”
