Watch: Chris Cornell’s Last Song Ever Performed Live Was About Death

The world is mourning the loss of grunge legend Chris Cornell this morning when he was found dead just hours after performing to a sold-out crowd in Detroit last night.

Now we’re learning the last song he performed at that concert was a song about death: a mashup of their hit “Slaves and Bulldozers” and Led Zeppelin’s “In My Time of Dying,” with lyrics like:

“In my time of dying, I want nobody to mourn. All I want for you to do is take my body home.”
