There’s a new cat in town, and his name is Omar.

Omar weighs over 30 pounds and measures to be almost four feet long. His owner, Stephanie First, said she adopted the 3-year Maine coon cat expecting him to be only 20 pounds — he’s certainly proved her wrong!

Omar lives with Stephanie in Melbourne, Australia and has recently been submitted to the Guinness Book of World Records to see if he will be named the world’s longest cat.
