It’s rare for Brad Pitt to make public appearances lately, but thankfully he came on lastnight’s Late Show With Stephen Colbert — and it was worth it!

The actor laid on a blanket with Stephen as they asked each other super deep questions about life.

“Do you think mathematics are the underlying structure of the universe, or did we just invent it?” Brad asked, to which Stephen replied, “I’m not sure if numbers are the underlying reality, but one thing is absolutely true: You’re a solid eight.”

“Is it possible to describe infinity?” Stephen pondered. “Yes it is,” Brad answered. “It’s one less than the number of Ocean’s sequels we’ll be making.”
