Billy Joel is one of those artists who genuinely puts his money where his mouth is. According to Page Six, the rockstar is donating big bucks to rebuild the Sag Harbor Cinema in the Hamptons after it was burned in a fire.

It’s also reported that the popcorn stand will be named after him, as a medal of gratitude.

And he’s not the only one. Harvey Weinstein and Martin Scorcese are also chipping in money to help the Sag Harbor Partnership raise $8 million to rebuild the theater, reports Page Six.

The plan is to launch a Sag Harbor Cinema Arts Center with year-round education, outreach, and programming.
