Katy Perry has had a visible transformation in the last few months while promoting her new album. She chopped off her hair, hosted the Met Gala, and dyed her hair bleach blonde.

“It’s a little beyond the Ellen,” Ellen DeGeneres said to Katy in an interview, referring to her own look.

Katy responded, “It’s like a little Ellen, a little Alfalfa. I did it about a month and some change ago…I don’t know if you’ve ever dyed your hair blonde, and too blonde, sometimes your hair falls out when you go too blonde. So, this is the way I handled it.” She also added that people told her, “Now you can really see the beauty of your face.”
