Katy Perry stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show and she and Ellen got to talking about several different topics. The first, of course, was the singer’s upcoming new album, Witness, which will drop on June 9. Katy told Ellen that she wrote the new album during a break following the 2015 Super Bowl, and she is really proud to show it off. She said:

“I was tired, I’m human. So I took October to June off. I started writing a record in June of last year. I wrote over 40 songs. Now I have 15 beautiful songs to represent this story I want to share with the world.”

Katy also told the host that she asked for “The Ellen” at the hair salon after she had some hair damage due to going too blonde.

But perhaps the best revelation had to do with using the restroom. Ellen commented on Katy’s recent elaborate, layered Met Gala gown, saying:

“This [outfit] seems like it would be hard to use the rest room or do anything [in].”

Katy explained that it’s all good, as long as she has her bathroom buddy, GoGirl. Apparently, the product has a nozzle that allows one “to pee standing up.” Katy said:

“I’ve used them in several music videos, because I always find myself in this predicament where I have a very extravagant, lavish, unpractical costume on. Google it!”
