We’ve been following the trial of Conrad Hilton, who’s been in hot water since stealing a car then screaming racial and homophobic slurs at police officers.

As E! News reports, the judge released Conrad to the custody of father Rick Hilton and ordered him to go directly to Menninger Clinic, a psychiatric hospital in Houston, Texas. The judge said if he left the clinic before his arraignment on June 29, he’ll immediately be apprehended and taken into custody.

The 23-year old was apparently harnessed in a self-harm prevention smock and made several bizarre outbursts in the courtroom, reports E!.

“Yes, your honor…I’m sorry for disrespecting this entire courtroom and this state and I didn’t have sex with hookers,” he responded when the judge asked if he knew what was happening.

Rick, Kathy and Barron Hilton were present, and when Conrad came into the court, he seemed to mouth “f*ck you” and “I hate you” in their direction.
