The 28th Annual GLAAD Media Awards honoring groundbreaking LGBTQ performers and activists in entertainment was hosted by Ross Mathews last night.

It was Ross’ 4th time leading the star-studded event in NYC, and he did not disappoint.  With the perfect amount of honesty and positivity, Ross held the evening together.

“Did you know this room is where [President Donald Trump] gave his victory speech? Right here, where I’m standing. Since this is the room where Trump won, we’re going to sage the room.”

Ross pulled some sage from his jacket, lit it, and the crowd of more than a 1,000 people chanted, “Sage the room!”

Ross said this about the ceremony:

“Hosting the GLAAD Media Awards for the fourth time was even more amazing than I hoped. Our community has come too far to go backward now, so the work of GLAAD is more important than ever.”

Take a look at the “sage” moment.  LOL
