Chris Rock Cheated on His Wife With Kerry Washington?!
Since Chris Rock revealed in a comedy routine that he cheated on his ex-wife with three different ladies, including a “big star,” rumors obviously began to swirl around the idea of who this mystery star was.
Turns out, sources say it was Kerry Washington!
Chris describes his adultery past in a cover story with Rolling Stone, saying, ““I was a piece of s–t,” adding that he “segues into his infidelities and gets disarmingly specific, describing three women: one famous, one semifamous and one a member of the retail class.”
A source at Page Six says, “He was cheating on his wife with Kerry when they were filming [‘I Think I Love My Wife’] about him, ironically, having fantasies of cheating on his wife. That went on for a while, for like six months, and she found out. There’s no gray area.”
Back in 2007, people started talking about the affair with Kerry and Chris — this was also around the time she was engaged to actor David Moscow. And on Chris’ recent tour, which he humorously called the “alimony” tour, he brought it back up and told Rolling Stone, “I gotta make some money first.”
Chris and his ex finalized the divorce last year.
Another source said his comedy routine was only schtick, but did say that his marriage was tumultuous at best: “I take it as a joke when he says he cheated with a famous person. He even says he cheated with a member of Destiny’s Child, but not Beyoncé. He was friends with Kerry around that time. They did the movie together. He was also separated from [his ex] around that time. They were off-and-on a lot during their marriage. It was a rocky situation.”
Page Six reports that Kerry’s ex, David, was asked about the alleged affair in 2016, to which he said “no comment.”
Kerry is now married to Nnamdi Asomugha, and they have two kids: daughter Isabelle and son Caleb.
