After getting some serious backlash following a series of brutal insults in response to Donald Trump mocking CBS’ John Dickerson on Face the Nation, Stephen Colbert is responding to the new campaign to get him fired.

During his anti-Trump rant, he joked that “the only thing [Trump’s] mouth is good for is being Vladimir Putin’s c**k holster.” Watch below:

On Wednesday, Stephen introduced himself with, “Welcome to The Late Show. I’m your host, Stephen Colbert. Still? I am still the host? I’m still the host!” He later said the POTUS can take care of himself: “I have the jokes. He has the launch codes.”
