Starring in action movies is not for the faint of heart!

Chris Pratt stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers on Wednesday, and revealed that his days of doing his own stunts may be numbered. Turns out he had a few close calls on the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2. He told Seth:

“It’s a really stunt-heavy movie, through the course of the whole film for everyone. We were suspended from wires, we did a whole bunch of stunts,” adding, “I got my bell rung pretty, pretty good. One time I essentially got knocked out.”

The 37-year-old feels that it may be time to throw in the stunt-doing towel. He said:

“I am getting to that point now, and my wife [Anna Faris] I should credit for this, where it’s like you gotta stop doing that because stunt people are way better than me at it. I’m getting bumps and bruises and they’re lasting much longer, like, you know, maybe for the rest of my life, those kinds of things. And I gotta be careful of these things.”

Chris added that his reasons for attempting the difficult maneuvers may not be good ones. He said:

“You always want to let the stunt people do them or their own version of it. Usually when you do it, it’s for your own ego and they let you do that. Then the stunt person comes in and does it and that’s what they use in the movie. So it’s just another way for us actors to feed our egos, because there aren’t enough.”
