Oh No! Lena Dunham Was Rushed to the Hospital After Attending The Met Gala

After attending the star-studded Met Gala on Monday, Girls creator Lena Dunham was reportedly rushed to the hospital after experiencing complications from her endometriosis, which needed immediate medical care.

Thankfully, sources close to her say she’s okay. Phew!

If you’re a fan of Lena, you probably are aware of the long battle she’s had with the disorder. She makes no qualms about it. In fact, just this April she had to have a fifth surgery to move her ovaries away from her rectal wall to end the chronic pain.

“My surgery went off without a hitch,” she said at the time on Lenny Letter. “When I emerged, cotton-mouthed, Randy told me something I hadn’t expected to hear, maybe ever: there was no endometriosis left. Between my surgeries and hormonal intervention, I was disease-free. That doesn’t mean it can never return, but for now, once my sutures have been removed and my bruises have changed from blue to yellow to green to gone, I will be healthy.”
