It really is one of Hollywood’s greatest love stories.

This week, Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn will be honored with a rare double Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony, and Goldie recently spoke about it, saying it’s a chance to honor their long love story.

At the red carpet premiere of Snatched (co-starring Amy Schumer), Goldie spoke with Entertainment Tonight, and said: “It’s really kind of great. We’re [getting] our stars together and it’s kind of a celebration of the two of us!”

Kate Hudson, Reese Witherspoon, and Quentin Tarantino are among the A-listers who will be present to pay tribute.

“We’re gonna have our friends there, old friends, it’ll be very nice,” she shared. “It’s been such a long time since we ever did anything like this. People look and say, ‘You mean you don’t have one yet?’ No we don’t, actually… It’s really funny, you know, because we never got married, so this is really kind of an interesting little ceremony.”

Recently, Kurt sat down with Harry Connick Jr. and spoke about their first date. After partying at the Playboy Club, they snuck off to a house she was renovating at the time:

“We eventually found our way upstairs,” he remembered. “We were looking around at imaginary furniture, and we are in the imaginary bedroom now, and we’re realistically having sex, when the police walked in, because we had to break into the place to get in. So the next thing I know there’s a flashlight, and Goldie and I are like, ‘What?'”

SO ROMANTIC!
