Prince William is a hero, and he is always going to stand on the side of justice.

Addressing the 2012 publication of Kate Middleton’s topless photos, which were taken while the couple was vacationing in France, the Prince recently prepared a statement and said it was “shocking” and that the long lens photos were “all the more painful” because of the harassment that led to his own mother Princess Diana’s death.

“The clandestine way in which these photographs were taken was particularly shocking to us as it breached our privacy,” the statement read. “My wife and I thought that we could go to France for a few days in a secluded villa owned by a member of my family, and thus enjoy our privacy.”

Their attorney is calling for them to receive $1.9 million in damages, according to the Telegraph.
