Prince has risen from the grave, and we’re thanking our lucky stars!

A remastered version of Prince’s groundbreaking 1984 album Purple Rain is going to be released this summer, and it’s going to feature several unreleased songs.

The announcement came today from NPG Records and Warner Bros. Records that two remastered versions of the album are going to be released on June 23. Prince himself oversaw the remastering process just before he died, reports the labels.

The two-disc Purple Rain Delux set will include six unreleased tracks, including a solo version of “Possessed” and a studio version of “Electric Intercourse.”
