What’s in a name? Sometimes, a lot!

We just learned that the epic drama, Grey’s Anatomy, had a different title at one point, and we can’t even imagine the show with that name.

Creator Shonda Rhimes shared in her online TV writing masterclass series that the original working title for the show was…get ready…Surgeons. Hmm. Sounds like a medical documentary showing gross procedures, right? Yeah, we agree. Putting the word “Anatomy” into it kind of clues you into the steamy romantic storylines that make it a must-watch.

Maybe they were trying to piggyback on the success of the ever simple title, Friends.

Either way, we think they made the right choice!
