Former actor, Michael Mantenuto, passed away on Monday at age 35 from an apparent suicide. TMZ reported he was found in his car by police in Des Moines, Washington. The King County medical examiner’s office in Seattle told The Hollywood Reporter that he had sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Michael was best known for his role as hockey player Jack O’Callahan in Disney’s 2004 film, Miracle, alongside Kurt Russell. After that he appeared in the 2006 TV movie, Dirtbags, and the 2008 comedy, Surfer, Dude. He later quit acting to join the U.S. Army Special Forces.
