OMG! Madonna Has a New Biopic Coming Out: ‘Blonde Ambition’
A biopic about Madonna called Blonde Ambition was just picked up by Universal with big name Hollywood producers attached, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The script was apparently a hot commodity on the Black List (a collection of available screenplays within the film industry), and thanks to a bit of luck, it was finally able to push through.
According to reports, the movie is going to chronicle Madonna’s early career when she moved to New York City from Bay City, Michigan in the late 1970s in hopes of becoming a dancer. Later, she would channel her talents into music and work as a backup singer for Born to Be Alive’s Patrick Hernandez.
Blonde Ambition also covers the ‘80s and ‘90s into her solo career. It’s also going to touch on Madonna swimming through the male-dominated industry.
The title comes from Madonna’s 1990 international tour.
