Jeremy Meeks, also known as the “Hot Felon” is making headlines once again.

The model, who was arrested on charges of weapons, gang activity, and resisting, became a household name when his “Blue Steel”-esque mugshot went viral in 2014. Upon his release from jail in the Spring of 2016, Jeremy was quickly signed by modeling agents and was able to leave his troubled past behind him. Until now.

Upon landing in London for the launch party of Man About Town magazine on Thursday, the 33-year-old was detained at Heathrow airport for eight hours, and was then deported from the U.K.

Jeremy’s manager, Jim Jordan, who accompanied him and his wife, Melissa, told Mail Online:

“They stamped my passport. They looked at Jeremy’s passport and they said, could you guys go sit over there. So they put us in this sectioned off section and we were sitting there for an over an hour. Then they came to me and asked if I could go through customs without Jeremy.”

Jim said the border agents interrogated the model for 4 hours. He said:

“They took a s*** ton of pictures of him. They strip-searched him, they fingerprinted him. They locked him in a small room for hours. They took his passport from him, they didn’t give him his passport back. They basically said, you cannot come into the UK with no explanation. Jeremy is really sad, he’s just really sad.’

After his release, Jeremy was put on a plane back to Los Angeles.
