It’s not every day you get proposed to.

Well, if you’re Malia Obama it’s all part of a routine Wednesday morning.

Apparently, the former first daughter was proposed to by some dude who showed up at the Weinstein Company offices in Manhattan, where Malia is interning. 30-year old Jair Nilton Cardoso held a sign against an office window reading, “Will you marry me?”

TMZ reports that secret agents ended up kicking him out, until he showed up again two days later outside another building where Malia was working. This time, they detained him.

Turns out, the agents recognized him as the same guy who attempted to get into the White House multiple times before.

After being interviewed by agents, it was clear that Cardoso needed to be taken to a hospital, so they happily obliged.

He wasn’t charged with a crime.
