Elle King ‘Skipped Out’ On Her Own Wedding!
Elle King traded the sound of wedding bells for the sound of Eagles of Death Metal.
The Grammy nominee was supposed to marry fiancé Andrew “Fergie” Ferguson on Saturday, but went to a rock concert instead. She posted a video herself enjoying the band’s performance, with a caption that read, “Skipped out on my wedding. I married Rock&Roll instead so I hopped on tour with EAGLES OF F–KING DEATH METAL.” Check it out below:
The singer accepted a proposal after only 12 days of knowing Fergie. On a March episode of Say Yes to the Dress, Elle said:
“We met in London in the lobby of my hotel, and it was like we had known each other for 10 years. We hung out all night, it was my last day in London, and he was like, ‘You can’t go home.’ And I didn’t get on my flight, and I stayed in London. Two days later, he quit his job and moved to America.”
The 27-year-old hinted that her relationship had taken a turn on Instagram on March 28, writing, “Gotta say … no matter how heartbreaking one day may be, it’s hard to not smile in this California sunshine.” See below:
