Katy Perry has definitely dated some of Hollywood’s sexiest and funniest men — Orlando Bloom, Russel Brand, hello!

But the 32-year old singer recently said to Vogue that being in her thirties has shifted a perspective on what a relationship, and ultimately marriage, means when navigating a successful career.

“I wouldn’t give anything to go back to my 20s; I’m so much more grounded,” she shared. “I’ve learned a lot of lessons — patience, the art of saying no, that everything doesn’t have to end in marriage.”

In regards to her career: “I blasted off on a rocket, holding on for dear life,” she explained. “But I had so much ambition and determination, and that’s what kept me going. That rocket was riding me for a bit, but now I am riding the rocket… I am pushing for my own evolution, just making better choices as far as style goes. I don’t want to get stuck in a way of thinking or doing or presenting.”

Katy dated Russell after she sprung into fame with “I Kissed a Girl” in 2008.

The couple later got married in October 2010 before divorcing in December 2011.
