Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are going to be parents!

The reality stars revealed to US Weekly that Heidi is 12 weeks along, and the two couldn’t be more excited. Spencer said that the morning they got news, his wife was “literally glowing,” since “Heidi has wanted to be a mom since the day I met her. She has planned for and thought about this.”

The couple has come a long way since the days of The Hills, and Heidi’s extreme plastic surgery stint. Heidi said:

“I wanted a baby three years ago. Spencer was a little hesitant. Then one thing after another came up. We had work obligations, like Celebrity Big Brother in the U.K., which I did not want to be pregnant for. I’m actually really thankful we waited. I thought I was ready in my twenties, but with everything we had going on, it just wouldn’t have been a good situation for us.”

The 30-year-old said that though the morning sickness was intense, she’s been grateful every step of the way, and is hoping the baby, due October 19, will be a boy. She said:

“I’m hoping for a boy. I’ve always wanted a boy first, ” adding, “I’d love to have a son and for the Pratt name to continue.”
