This High School Student Just Asked Emma Stone to Prom, What Did She Say?

Everyone loves Emma Stone, no matter where you live or how old you are.

For one particular high school student living in Phoenix, Hollywood is clearly not that intimidating — which is why he raked up the courage to ask Emma to be his date to prom!

17-year old Jacob Staudenmaier recreated the opening scene from La La Land in his high school’s parking lot in order to ask the Oscar winner to prom. He clearly doesn’t give a f*ck (and that’s why he’s so adorable) in the video called “Emma Stone, Prom?”

The video is a little bit, well, interesting. But it got him an appearance on Good Morning America this morning!

Jacob revealed that Emma actually responded to him, writing:

“Jacob, thanks for making the greatest proposal I have ever received. I can’t tell you what an honor that was and how much I smiled through that entire beautifully orchestrated video. I’m in London working, but I hope you have the best time at prom, and I’m grateful you thought of me. Thank you. P.S. I do see Gosling around the eyes. Love, Emma.”
