Norman Reedus Says His ‘Walking Dead’ Character is Too Immature to Date

It doesn’t matter if the world is slowly ending due to a zombie apocalypse, people are always in need of a date — even “Daryl Dixon,” the character played by actor Norman Reedus in The Walking Dead.

We’re not exactly sure where Daryl would even take a date. After all, it’s a zombie apocalypse (do zombies like Starbucks?).

“It’s such a thing, the love story, you know what I mean? Once you throw someone up against a tree, it’s over,” Norman said to Page Six at this week’s Garden of Laughs comedy benefit. “I kind of don’t know that Daryl is mature enough to do that… Let Rick get all the girls. I’m like Spock on ‘Star Trek’ and he’s like Captain Kirk. He gets all the ladies and I sit in the background and say weird things.”

Of course, things are pretty tight lipped leading up to the season 7 finale, which airs TONIGHT!

Norman wouldn’t even discuss which female character Daryl would like to spark an interest with. Hmm…. who do you guys think he’d be great with?
