Get ready folks, Neil Patrick Harris is back on TV and is getting ready to do exactly what he’s meant to do: host a fabulous game full of child geniuses.

Who better to host a show like that than Doogie himself?

That’s right — our favorite showman has signed a deal with NBC to hows and executive produce a new game show called Genius Junior, reports Variety.

The show involves twelve teams of three children, who will compete to be crowned “Genius Junior.” Variety reports that in over five rounds, teams will need to work together to complete challenges testing their knowledge on a wide range of subjects. Who’s to say what they are, definitely not pre-calculus (or maybe so).

“I’m thrilled to be part of a project that shines a light on extraordinary children and challenges viewers to exercise their own minds,” Neil said. “NBC is a great home for ‘Genius Junior.’ Plus, the contestants are kids, so they’re destined to be hilarious or, you know, snap. Win/win. I kid. #pun.”

Neil’s former show Best Time Ever was also on NBC, but was canceled after one season. But both Neil and NBC were committed to working on new projects through his company Prediction Productions.

“Tackling incredibly tough and fast-paced challenges, these amazing child prodigies will leave us entertained and awestruck,” said Paul Telegdy, president of the alternative and reality group for NBC Entertainment. “We are thrilled to have Neil as our host. His quick wit and charm are perfectly suited to keep up with the unpredictability that is sure to ensue.”

Oh, we can’t WAIT for this!
