Beyonce is apparently the first choice to play Nala in Disney’s live-action reboot of The Lion King, and we’re so DRUNK IN LOVE with this idea we’re screaming like hyenas!

According to Variety, director Jon Favreau has made it very clear the Lemonade star will make a fabulous Nala, and we agree! But according to insiders, Queen Bey has yet to make a decision on accepting the role, even though the studio vows to do “whatever it takes to accommodate her schedule.”

The new mother of twins has a lot on her plate right now, with three kids and her husband Jay Z doing various movie projects as well, she’s going to have a very busy couple years ahead.

But Beyonce’s love for Disney movies is apparent (CLICK HERE).

Donald Glover and James Earl Jones are already set for the live-action, as Simba and Mufasa respectively.

Please… let Nala sing “Shadowland” from the original Broadway production. Can you imagine Beyonce singing this?
