Winning Nick Viall’s heart over 29 stunning competitors was smooth sailing for Vanessa Grimaldi. The aftermath has been the hard part.

A source close to the couple spoke to Us Weekly exclusively to share that things have been rough for Vanessa since The Bachelor ended. Apparently the 29-year-old is “having a hard time” with Nick’s Dancing With the Stars gig. After the two became engaged on the show’s finale, Vanessa relocated to Los Angeles to be with Nick. The source said, “Nick rehearses a lot,” and added, “They fight about it.”

Though Vanessa is clearly still in the spotlight, she’s no longer in front of the camera the way Nick is. The source also revealed that,  “Vanessa’s not used to the attention being mostly on Nick. It’s taking a toll.”

Here’s hoping the couple can stick it out and stay together.
