The Spanish are so passionate, aren’t they?

Well, perhaps one of the most famous Spaniard of them all, Charo, is bringing a little of that passion off the dance floor of Dancing With the Stars, where she’s currently competing.

Apparently, the fiery Spaniard is threatening to quit DWTS and walk away altogether because of her scoring this past week.

“Charo was super upset this week about her scoring and she feels like she’s being treated and scored very unfairly,” a source told E! News. “She is seriously upset.”

During the two weeks the season has been airing, Charo has earned a 21 and a 25 out of 40 from the judges, and was almost eliminated at the end of last week before they revealed she was safe (Chris Kattan was ultimately eliminated).

That was when she took her concerns all the way up to the producers.

“She was telling producers that she doesn’t like how they’re underscoring her and she feels like she’s been treated so badly so she was threatening to quit,” the source said. Obviously the producers had to walk her backstage and calm her down, but the threat allegedly still stands “unless they start scoring her performances more fairly.”

This season has brought a lot of questions about fairness and ranking when it comes to certain dancers. For sure, Charo was thought to be one of the best dancers along with Heather Morris — who already is a professional dancer.

E! caught up with Charo and her partner Keo Motsepe after she near elimination last week, and she said: “I was very upset that they kicked out Chris,” she said. “I was about to make a deal. I go, and he stays. But I don’t think the rules allow that. He tried very hard and it’s so beautiful. Also, I was very upset that they gave [better scores] to Mr. T.”
