OITNB’s Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli Tie the Knot in Palm Springs!
Samira Wiley knows how to throw a bachelorette party, so it’s no wonder that her wedding was not only beautiful, but setting the bar for future Palm Springs weddings — and there’s a lot, y’all!
The beautiful couple met on the set of Orange Is the New Black.
Samira played the wonderful and beloved character “Poussey” and Lauren Morelli is a writer for the hot Netflix show. Nowadays, Samira is starring in Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale.
According to Martha Stewart Weddings, both of them wore custom made Christian Siriano (love him!) creations. Both of them love confetti cake, so the ceremony and reception were confetti-themed. What a cool idea!
Samira’s parents officiated the ceremony, and Montell Jordan’s “This is How We Do It” played during the recession up the aisle. And of course, they made their entrance at the reception with Justin Bieber’s “Baby.”
Their first dance was welcomed by a las of confetti. We hope it didn’t get on the dress!
