Ellen DeGeneres Launches Animated Series About Her Pets

We love watching Ellen, and we love watching pets, so what could be better than watching pets watching Ellen?

Ellen has a new animated project called “Ellen’s Pet Dish,” and it launches today. The 12-epsidoe digital series, which will air weekly on the Ellen Digital Network, focuses on Ellen’s and wife Portia de Rossi’s pets, and what they do when they are left alone. Unlike the adventurous animals in The Secret Life of Pets,  the couple’s 3 cats, 4 dogs, and a puppy, mostly sit around and watch The Ellen DeGeneres Show, commenting on moments from Ellen’s interviews. Petsmart sponsors the series, and several products from Ellen’s line are featured during the show, giving viewers the chance to purchase toys and such for their own furry friends.

This is the first animated series by Ellen Digital Ventures, which was produced with Warner Bros.’ Blue Ribbon Content studio in 2014, and according to the company, it receives more than 300 million video views a month. That translates to a lot of potential chew toys sales! Here’s a brief sneak peak:
